 Bright Eyes & Bushy Tail A mirror is placed behind glass marbles to imitate the cat’s eyes. The light reflection highlights the use of biology for artistic conceptualization and inspiration. Visual learning is the dominant style among children. To help them make sense of math visually, the Visible Mathematics will present a workshop of Origami Math Genius (OMG) for teachers. Teachers could bring OMG projects back to their classrooms and develop student’s math skill in spatial reasoning and visualization through hands-on origami. MRI of meridians The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at CSU Channel islands offers a new course on the Science of Acupuncture starting February 22, 2017.
