This paper sculpture was created 10 years ago for 2008 Beijing Olympics. It was exhibited at the Capital Museum for the Olympic Cultural Festival. It was inspired by the iconic Olympic Stadium - Bird’s nest.

Paper was chosen for the sculpture because it was invented in China. Exhibition of a paper sculpture for Beijing Olympic paid its homage. Weaving was integrated in the sculpting to symbolize the Bird's Nest, which will host 2022 Winter Olympics.
