Al has the potential to transform our future more than any other technology. How does AI learn to perceive and reveal the world? How does AI read our thought and augment our brain? Can AI use tools, strategize, and create? You may ask Siri, an AI agent, or come to this class to find out AI’s power and limit. This class will introduce basic AI concepts in machine learning and neural network. It will present various AI applications including image and language processing. In the class, we will discuss AI’s impact on jobs, society, and democracy. We will also explore its unprecedented promise and peril to humanity.
