OMG is a curriculum of origami math developed for integrating art and science in K-12 education. As illustrated in the example, an origami cup is designed mathematically, a crease pattern, the design output, is then printed out to guide the paper folding. Camarillo, CA - Studio Channel Islands Art Center received a grant from Edison International for its Origami Math Genius (OMG) and other educational programs. The grant enables OMG classes for local students and teachers in Ventura county, it advances education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM).
