OMG is a curriculum of origami math developed for integrating art and science in K-12 education. It brings fun and hands-on activities into learning. OMG has been taught at local schools, Gull Wings Children’s Museum, Skirball Cultural Center, and other organizations. It is to turn every student into an OMG.
Many children around the world acquired math skill through origami art, innovative schools combined origami and math in their classrooms. To unfold the educational benefits of origami math, the Brimhall library in Thousand Oaks, California, invites students in K-12 grades and their families to an Origami Math Genius (OMG) demonstration at 2pm on January 17, 2015.
